As we return to in-person learning, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

  • Daily Health Screenings: Students attending school in-person should complete a Daily Health Screening form. Students who do not have the blue Daily Health Screening form will be screened upon entry of the doors.  New forms will be distributed to students.

  • Update the Nurse: It is very important to contact the School Nurse if someone in your household has tested positive for coronavirus, is awaiting test results, or has been recommended to quarantine due to possible exposure.

    Mrs. Straney, 7-12 Nurse: 315.429.3155 ext. 2601, bstraney@dolgeville.org

  • Safety Precautions: DCS will continue to enforce safety precautions, including the consistent use of masks in the school buildings and buses, sanitizing high-frequency areas (restrooms, cafeterias, door handles, etc.), and social distancing. Desks are disinfected between classes and entire classrooms are disinfected every evening.

  • Testing: While we are not currently designated a yellow, orange, or red zone, if we have a future designation, we will be required to administer COVID tests to small samples of our students and staff.  We will use the least invasive method of testing that is available to us, which provides rapid results within 15 minutes.  In order for us to test your child, we will need written parental consent.  Students will be sent home with a form regarding parental consent for testing their first day back to in-person instruction.  Please return this form as soon as possible.  If we do not receive consent from enough parents to test at least 20% of our students every week, we will not be allowed to continue any form of in-person attendance under a yellow zone designation.

NOTE: Please contact your building principal with any questions or concerns.
