Dear Dolgeville School Community,
I want to take a moment to update you on our current outdoor capital improvement project. Our overall project on campus [indoors and outdoors] and at the bus garage are still ongoing. With respect to the Stadium area [track, turf, grandstand, concession and restrooms], we are anticipating completion by late August. Through the continued construction please know that the facilities are not open for public use and that this area is considered a "construction zone". As a result, there is no public access or usage at this time. However, once we finish by late August, we will announce to our school community so that they may visit and use the incredible facilities you have graciously supported for our students, programs and community.
Currently, we are working closely with our spring sports programs to allow limited access for practices; and unfortunately for our track teams we are unable to host home meets due to the fact that the track is not yet coated and lined, and the area, as mentioned, is considered a "construction area." As we move forward, the district will provide outdoor facility updates.
