Dear Dolgeville School Community,
We will be dismissing students early on Thursday, November 14th, as a result of our Sectional Football Championship Game this upcoming Thursday. The Kickoff is scheduled for 5pm in Syracuse at the JMA Wireless Dome (formally Carrier Dome) and considering the transportation of our teams to Syracuse (football and cheer), and our own dismissal of students home, such an early dismissal allows for all parties to be safely transported to all locations by our caring drivers and on our district buses. Also, we want to ensure those traveling to the championship game versus Mount Markham are not rushed in any way.
As is the case with all early dismissals, both breakfast and lunch will be served. Dismissal will be at 11:30am, and staff will use the afternoon time for curriculum planning and department work.
