Welcome to the new Dolgeville Central School District web site. Our hope is that this new site will be easier for our community to use when trying to get vital information about our school.  We welcome any feedback that will help us improve this valuable vehicle for communication.

As you are aware we have been in a hybrid model of instruction since the beginning of the year.  A few weeks ago we were able to increase in person instruction to include Wednesdays.  Our A and B groups alternate so that every other week they receive three days of in person instruction. Another change is bringing the majority of our full virtual instruction students back to our campus for in person instruction. Finally, starting April 12th we will be bringing all kindergarten students into school five days a week. I know the community would like this for everyone but our kindergarten rooms are the only ones large enough to accommodate full classes at this time and still conform to the social distance regulations.

Since September our goal has not changed. We look forward to the time when we have all students back full time in school. All of us are aware of the news articles of whether 6 feet or 3 is going to be used as the new guidance for in person instruction. I want to inform you that we have plans in place to bring all students back to school. I ask that you be patient and allow us to do this in a safe manner. Although the CDC guidelines have changed we still have to operate under NYSDOH regulations. We will continue our hybrid model until new guidance is released.  Safety is our #1 priority.

Remember that our goal and mission, in the words of Alfred Dolge is “to go out into the world well prepared.”
