Herkimer BOCES 2024-25 Pre-K sign-ups

Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES has started accepting applications for the Prekindergarten programs located at multiple Herkimer County school districts for the 2024-25 school year.

The Pre-K program provides opportunities for positive intellectual, social, emotional and physical development for children ages 3 and 4. Successful transition to kindergarten is the targeted outcome for all students.

The program is free to families. Eligibility factors including income and family circumstances are considered for some programs. You must be a resident of the district in which you are seeking to enroll.

Pre-K programs beginning in fall 2024 are available at:
• Central Valley/Fisher Elementary
• Dolgeville Elementary (age 3 only)
• Frankfort-Schuyler Elementary (age 4 only)
• Herkimer Elementary
• Owen D. Young School

There will also be a 2024 Summer Pre-K program available at the Little Falls secondary school from July 10 to Aug. 14 (tentative dates) for ages 3-5.
