Welcome Back to School & Open House 2023

Dear Parents, Students and Community Members,

We are ready to begin another school year - I hope you have had the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful summer, even with the wet weather we have experienced. We at DCS are reenergized, and ready for another exciting school year, one that brings some change in staffing and includes some extensive facilities upgrades (Capital Improvement Project); which has started this summer. We look forward to the continued development of our project throughout the school year.

Our teachers and staff have worked hard this summer to ensure our students have the very best start to the 2023-2024 school year. We are a strong school community that has shown its strength through many unforeseen circumstances of the past, and continues to forge its way for the purpose to keep our students safe, happy, and positively engaged in the world around them. The points of pride here at Dolgeville are unmatched, and our students continue to thrive as a result of our challenging programs, dedicated staff, and supportive families. Let’s continue to support our students, together, with positive energy, and make every effort to make this school year a valuable experience for all students.

Like last school year, we are hosting OPEN HOUSE tomorrow, Tuesday, September 5th for all students and families, from 5:30-7:00 PM. Hosting OPEN HOUSE before the start of school last year was a big success and allowed students and families to meet their teachers, see their classrooms, get their schedules, and have access to their lockers. Also, Individual buildings will be hosting grade level orientations tomorrow night as well, which have been communicated by each building principal. We hope you will join us tomorrow night!
